Maria Shaw Lawson comes to Alternatives Spirit Guide with a strong journalism background. She started her career as a reporter for newspapers in the Midwest. Maria was also the news director at WOWE FM 98.9FM (Michigan). She was a television news anchor and reporter for NBC and CBS affiliates. As the Nashville editor for an international music magazine, “Cashbox”, Maria worked with many noted artists and professionals in the entertainment industry. In 2008, she hosted a daily talk show, “The Maria Shaw Show” on CBS Radio. Interest from Hollywood, led to an on air position at the TV Guide Channel where Maria’s reports reached 69 million households nationwide. Currently, she is a weekly columnist for the National Enquirer and Soap Opera Digest and appears as a morning show regular on radio stations across the country.
